I should stop multitasking.
I can't finish a single task anymore; I keep bouncing between microtasks or just wasting my time on something, losing focus, and wasting time. It feels like an endless loop.

I know this writing will be bad because I can't focus on it. I'll miss points or just skip whole sections that I want to write.
Right now, while I'm writing, I just started watching a random YouTube video for no reason; I just stopped after a few lines, opened YouTube, and clicked on a random video on my timeline. “How China's Biggest Scammer Got Caught”. Now I'm thinking why I clicked on that video.
I notice some patterns in how this problem started with me. Short answer: it's mainly because of AI. By profession, I'm a software dev and spend most of the time with code. For the last 6 or 7 months, I started reviewing my code with multiple AI systems, and then it started. Waiting for a reply from the LLM. Those short wait times are making me switch to different apps spending time there. It's becoming a bad habit.
In the past few months, I've noticed my thinking power is also not as good as it used to be. Not because of the social media doomscrolling; I deactivated my Instagram and Facebook 3 years ago and hardly consume short-format content. But still, it feels like I'm slowing down.
I need to fix this problem asap or I will be in a bigger problem in the future.
