Apps

My Mac apps, extensions, and tools for daily work as a developer and designer. Updated regularly as my stack evolves.

Browsers

  • Arc - My primary browser of choice, replacing Google Chrome. I've tried switching many times, but I always come back to this one. This is my go-to browser for development.
  • Brave - My favorite private browser, primarily used for watching videos on YouTube.
  • Zen - A Firefox-based browser I appreciate. From my perspective, it's a copycat browser.
  • Safari - I only use this for taking screenshots of my feeds, projects, etc.

Browser Extensions

  • AdGuard AdBlocker - My favorite free AdBlocker.
  • Grammarly - I use this extension for writing and editing emails.
  • Dark Reader - Enables dark mode on any website.
  • Web Highlights - My favorite digital highlighter for the web.
  • Wappalyzer - Helps me identify the tech stack of any web app.
  • Gridt - A recently discovered extension that's become essential for my work as a Design Engineer. It helps me build grid-focused web apps and analyze layouts of other applications.
  • Lighthouse - I use this to audit website performance, accessibility, and SEO metrics during development.
  • Raycast Companion - Context for Raycast.
  • Vue.js devtools - As a Vue developer myself, it's a much-needed extension.
  • React Developer Tools - My go-to extension when building React applications.
  • Vercel - Essential extension for previewing my Vercel deployments and managing projects directly from the browser.

Terminal

  • Warp - My default Mac Terminal.

Development

  • Docker - Essential containerization platform for managing and deploying applications.
  • Bruno - My open source API client for testing and exploring APIs, a great alternative to Postman.
  • VSCode/Cursor - My Editors. View my editor setup.

Utilities

  • Itsycal - Minimal calendar app that lives in my menu bar.
  • LocalSend - Secure file sharing app for transferring files between devices on the same network. Works seamlessly with my Mac and Nothing Phone (Android).
  • Raycast - Powerful launcher and productivity tool that replaced Spotlight for me.
  • Rectangle - Window management app for organizing and resizing windows with keyboard shortcuts. Much better than macOS's default window snap feature.
  • Pure Paste - Smart clipboard manager that removes formatting when pasting.
